Client Onboarding develops customer discovery, honest fit, and clear next steps. Making the first 90 days successful.
Understand the customer's situation
Research what is appropriate, then ask open questions about goals, current process, constraints, decision criteria, and timing. Listen for what the customer actually values instead of assuming the need.
Explain relevant value
Connect only the capabilities that address the customer's stated needs. Be precise about limitations, costs, and evidence; invite questions and address concerns without pressure or unsupported promises.
Agree on a useful next step
Summarize what you heard, check that the proposed fit is accurate, and agree on an owner and next action. If the offering is not a fit, say so and avoid creating artificial urgency.
Practice plan
Choose one realistic task related to Client Onboarding, write down the outcome you want, and complete a focused attempt. Review evidence and feedback, then choose one specific improvement for your next attempt.
